What is the difference between managed IT and break-fix support?
Break-fix means you pay when something goes wrong, so your provider earns more when things break. With managed IT you pay a predictable monthly fee and we are paid to prevent problems through monitoring, patching and security, not to fix them after the fact.
Can you work alongside our internal IT person or team?
Yes. We often provide co-managed IT, giving your in-house team our security tooling, 24/7 monitoring and specialist engineers while they keep ownership of day-to-day support.
Do we have to comply with the Essential Eight?
It is mandatory for many Australian Government agencies and strongly recommended for everyone else. Funders, insurers and larger customers increasingly ask about it. We assess your current maturity and give you a realistic plan to lift it.
Is our Microsoft 365 really secure out of the box?
Not fully. Many important protections, such as blocking legacy sign-ins, Conditional Access, audit alerting and DMARC enforcement, need to be configured. Our Microsoft 365 security check shows exactly where your tenant stands.
Where is our Microsoft 365 data stored?
Microsoft 365 tenants set up in Australia store core customer data, including Exchange mailboxes, SharePoint and OneDrive files, in Microsoft's Australian datacentres.
How does onboarding work?
We start with an audit of your environment, document everything, deploy our monitoring and security tools, and bring your systems up to our security baseline. You get a clear report on what we found and what we changed.
